I think it is finally SPRING!  Not that the weather has really cooperated, in that it can be "spring like" here in Kansas one day, and then we are fighting another winter cold snap the next.  I can tell it is spring because I am getting many requests to spruce up the "tired, old" living room furniture.  I have worked on a significant number of pieces, and brought them back to a "like new" condition, and this has made their owners happy!  Why?  Because they saved thousands of dollars by restoring their leather furniture rather than replacing it.
Have you priced leather furniture lately?  Pricing hgas gone through the roof and I do not see it ever coming back down.  Sure, you can find some "lesser" priced leather furniture, but be careful, much of it is seriously inferior, and what you save now, will cost you in the end.  Avoid bonded leather, split hides, etc.  These products will never stand up to the test of time.  Worse though, unscroupulous companies promoted it as "leather" and often the pricing may not reflect how poor a leather it is and people get taken.
Leather is meant to last a lifetime, especially with technicians like me to help.
